Considering this video was posted in December of 2008 and it's still up here, I don't think it was an EMT who filmed this. That would be a blatant violation of HIPAA.
@BwoodLegionAmb12 I'm not so sure. I'm an EMT myself. It would be absolutely illegal if the EMT/Paramedic was filming. However, if it is a patient or a family member filming (w/ the patient's consent) then its probably a huge gray area. In other words... who knows?
as an emt for a big service, i can likely say that since the patients are the ones that filmed this and posted it on there own channel, there is no violation of HIPPA on the medics part, we are emts and medics, not babysitters so sometimes things happen that are out of our control, like people filming stuff.
