You know I can remember those days. Every one in the world were buying CBs then, cars were being made with CBs already in them. Channel 10 used to be a trucker's channel until Ch.9 kept complaining that the truckers were interfering with emergency transmissions on Ch.9.

Licenses cost either $5.00 or $10.00. but because of all of the new cb radios starting out the FCC basically quit giving out licenses and barely if at all controls radio communication on the CB.
