quick qeustion. does your ps3 have to be on?

i think you have to leave it in standby mode with that red light on... it isn't really ON until you tap that button on the system or you hit that PS button the PS3 controller... so i think this remote play through wi-fi kinda follows the same idea

but there's an initial setup process you have to do in syncing.... that's as much as i know cuz i dont have an aino

Damn.....I like sony because they integrate a lot of their devices together and reward with stuff like remote play if you buy multiple products from them. Apple does the same thing with its iPod, Macbooks, iPhones, etc. but they don't have a gaming system ....at least not yet :( haha

All the new PS3 models except the first 20gb model can do remote play. As long as you see the remote play option, hey it can do remote play I guess

@rasuk No, every PS3 can Perform "Remote Play". 20GB Model isn't equiped with a Wi-Fi (You already know that) but it can perform "Remote Play" via the Router! Just a Tip to every "Remote Play" User, the PS3's Wi-Fi isn't good enough when you're 10-15 meters away so prefer using Remote Play via the Router and also you have to use an Ethernet Cable.

@Peter19940 yeah, and if you're like me and have play tv (the freeview box for ps3) you can also stream tv from your ps3 onto your phone from anywhere in the world aswell, its awesome!!
