No, he's right... Omaha sucks. I'm born and raised "rare well done" (the original motto... before the encapsulating "O!"). Nothing to do but drink, three hours+ from the closest real city. CWS sucks... mainly because I, personally, hate baseball. Our music scene sucks, nothing but emo and bad death metal. We have an amazing zoo, 2000 restaurants, and the biggest furniture store in the world. But if you like bright eyes, the faint, and talk that slowly... I sincerely hope you didn't come.

Oh my gosh, that was so sad! Seriously, there was like so many flowers over at the mall :'[ The real thing that happened that day is that a guy went to a popular mall and shot a lot of people, including children. Only a small amout of people are injured. And a radio station had a huge free hugs concert to celebrate. And there was like a big wad of flowers by the steps and they took that and put it into a museum.

we've got the coolest people, and a low (but slowly rising) crime rate, and if you move to around where i live, you'll get awesome neighbors awesome, yet extreme, weather (good summers, and nice, cold, and snowy winters) and the only real downside i can think of is the thunderstorms. we can get some extremely terrible ones at times. but anyway, go to omaha, it's the place to be!! (oh, yeah, and we also have some managable gas prices--in my opinion)

i live in omaha. there is village pointe, outdoors mall in westomaha, along with all the indoor ones (oakview, west roads, cross roads) there are 4 major music venues. downtown omaha is amazing (i have a video of it in my section) and within downtown omaha is the old market, which has art shops and eating places. we have the quest center, which is ginourmous. and were the 44th largest city in the us, out of 30,000

i live in omaha nebraska. First off, it is hot in the summer and feezing in the winter (but that means snow days). There is the best zoo ever! It has the biggest indoor desert, biggest indoor jungle (pretty amazing) and A LOT of animals! I won't lie, road construction here SUCKS! I live out in the new millard (168th and harrison) part of omaha and its very nice. I think you will adapt easily here and you will like it. Trust me take the chance, Omaha is wonderful!

Im an "Omaha person lol" let me just say nebraska = boring, mostly farmland scenery, peaceful. Omaha is the city you want to be in and probably the only city in Nebraska if you want city life. The only other city like place is the capital Lincoln but that is smaller than Omaha, no one really knows why they made it capital Omaha should be but anyway yea thats about it. Hope I helped out.

In Omaha its getting bigger every day and shit, but there is the Qwest center, the CWS Baseball stadium, Probably the best zoo in the united states. There are alot of malls shopping centers so they are The West Roads, Cross Roads, Village Pointe, and the old market which is downtown more older style but alot of cafe/shops there too. The crime rate is pretty much low which is good unless for some reason you want it high?But that does not mean theres nothing to do in Omaha, just friendly people.
