this is a recording from the 1995 cavaliers show the planets isn't it? i know it is but i just want to make sure. Because they have the "HAAAA" and turn around in the first movement.

I really want to do a "Planets" themed show my Senior year for marching band! The piece allows you to do so many beautiful and innovative things with the drill and the music.

When I did it, we marched it in the 3+2+2 feel at 212 so it would go, L,2,3 R,2 L,2. Then we had a set where we just marched it straight up L,R,L,R,L,R,L at a very fast tempo.

WOW lots of talent here but no marching group on earth could EVER clean all those straight lines and circles.. there are WAY too many diagonals and LONG lines and curves.. VERY long haha .. very interesting drill tho

this is really good

but it would be really hard to get those major diagonals with the entire band in the beginning and the end

my band did the plantes this year but only saturn mars and jupiter and our arrangement was a little bit different for example we have the accelerando section in jupiter which sounds amazing when played right
