Did you ever look at your own video in slow-motion and see how close you got to getting yourself killed? I managed to stop the video a split second before the main strike across the lake. A leader bolt originated from inside your boat three feet away from you! Looks like started from the floor and went right over the left edge of the boat, half-way between the rear seat cushion and the vertical black strap. It stopped about ten feet up. Had it connected, you would have died..

i live over around some hills and there was this one lightning strike where every thing was light outside like the flash from a giant camera taking a picture from the area above...it was awesome to bad i don't have it on tape :D

@javigp7 if its that close it is almost the same time, humans can't tell, but when slowed down the sound is just slightly after the actual lightning. look for a strike really close during a t-storm, you'll see

It's an optical created by your camera lens.

its a reflection, the real bolt is alot farther away. listen to the difference between the flash and thunder. (5 sec = 1 mile). the sound did not come instantly, and if it was that close, you would be (seriously) injured.
