There's circumstantial evidence pointing towards murder. I'm not denying that. But looking up neck breaking. Perhaps she wanted to defend herself or even planned to hurt someone else. And since I've not heard anything of Caylee's neck actually being broken. Also Casey did drugs and even mentioned recreational drug use including chloroform to a babysitter. Also its possible that she used chloroform on Caylee to get her to sleep and not as a means of murder....

The standard for a murder conviction is high for a reason. It's not 99 percent sure, it's 'beyond a reasonable doubt.' The jury did the right thing even if it does leave a bad taste in our mouths.

There's circumstantial evidence pointing towards murder. I'm not denying that. But looking up neck breaking. Perhaps she wanted to defend herself or even planned to hurt someone else. And since I've not heard anything of Caylee's neck actually being broken. Also Casey did drugs and even mentioned recreational drug use including chloroform to a babysitter. Also its possible that she used chloroform on Caylee to get her to sleep and not as a means of murder....

If you watch the jail house tape of her conversation with her parents, you'll see she has a tantrum about their continued insistance that she tell them something. But since police can't find the nanny, they assume that she doesn't exist. Therefore, they also assume Casey is lying. According to Casey, police only searched the state of Florida even though she told them that the nanny was originally from New York. Why not look up records in every state anyway?

This made Casey feel afraid and she decided to do her own investigation as she had said.

Casey lied about her nanny saying she worked at universal studios. They went to universal studios couldn't find the woman, then Casey changed her mind again. She changed stories a million times. Her last story she told was that her boyfriend killed Caylee. So that means that the whole nanny thing was made up. She did it, or knows who did it.

The state doesn't know exactly how Caylee died, can't prove that Casey had a direct hand, only that she lied about the nanny, a hair was found in the trunk but NO PROOF that no one else had the car, searches for chloroform could have been made by ANYONE on the computer. A friend OR boyfriend OR roomates could have killed Caylee. A stupid, negligent mother, going out partying, is CIRCUMSTANTIAL. MAYBE guilty, but NOT the death penalty.

why was caylee even at the "babysitters." iv'e never heard why. it's not right to say it, but maybe she will get the shit out of her when she goes to prison. this is just awful!!!! i don't know how a mother could do that to her children.

if she's innocent, her defense team didn't do her any favors by keeping her silent and just sitting in jail talking only to them. I hope they confronted her with the seriousness of the situation and made her face what was going on, it doesn't sound like it. the part where she's going on about her gut feeling that Caylee is still okay....so crazy. She talks about it like this "gut feeling" actually would mean something, "I have a gut feeling that she's still okay but if that changes I won't hesitate to contact you"....??? Her magic gut knows? Actually what she said was "In my gut she's still okay....." that's even weirder. She seems to think as long as she thinks Caylee's okay, then there's no reason to worry. She seems delusional.

He was trying so hard but she was lost in some kind of fantasy world, not helping at all. I worry that the defense team never realized the extent of her mental problems and instead just kept her quiet because they feared she might be guilty. So just kept her pacified, let her live in her la-la land.....so weird, I'm at the part where Lee's asking can you think ofanything to help find Caylee, and Casey is saying "nothing offhand" "but I'm going to try to put something together later today...."

the part where Lee asks her if she thinks Caylee is all right and she goes off talking about "oh Mom asked me that too and Jose asked me and the psychologist asked me and just like I told all of them, in my gut, I feel like she's okay and she's close to home. That's my best feeling right now but if that changes at any time, I'll be sure and let you know....." I seriously think she's got something wrong with her mind/brain, I don't think she ever grasped the seriousness of the situation or the reality of what was going on. She sounds like she's in her fantasy world of event planning, like she thinks she's just talking about some promotion at Tony's club she's helping with or some other thing like that, not dealing with the disappearance of her child. She's not all there if you ask me.
