OMG I just got mine today and shot it. Its Fast Its Accurate and Its Reliable. GET IT!!!!!! I say like it shoots 420fps. Screw the box. I know it says 330fps but hellz no its not. Test your gun and see how many fps it shoots. mines like around 420-435fps. SICK!!!!

theres some space between the RIS and the outer barrel so you would be able to feed the wire through there.

OMG theres 416s that come in full metal LE, Crane, and Full stocks. Theres also versions with convertible outer barrels to make them onger externally. Tell me what you want and ill link you. Type of stock and convertible barrel or not? FUll Metal or plastic body?

I personaly don't like the wires exposed on this gun. I got this gun from a local dealer and it came with the front flip up sight broken so i had to take out the screw to flip it up. Then on the first game i used it about an hour and the fuse blew out. I took it back and exchanged it for an echo 1 barret rec 7 which shot alot better and is an all-around better gun. I was not very impressed with this gun mainly because of the PEQ box, and the stupid barrel extension.

well thats your personal preference. I prefer Echo 1 guns more than any other because they are the most reliable (I think), they are usually the best quality (I think), and i find that their prices are the best

ya they are not even close to similar. this is all black. the JG has a grey body, which makes it look more like a toy. the echo has MUCH better internals. any echo1 has internals that are 3 times better than a JG. the JG has very bad performance. the FPS on the JG is around 320, the rate of fire is too high for the gearbox to handle for a good amount of time, and hop-up bucking usually comes twisted in a JG (giving the BB side spin instead of backspin which causes the BB to curve to the side)

I like G&G best cause usually they are the best and have full metal bodies just hate that they dont make a G36 :( but Echo1 is good price and reliabilty for startin out.

Echo1 does'nt only rebrand JG. they also rebrand Dboys, CYMA, and more recently they've been working on AGM's. Echo 1 still has much better internals cuz they don't just put their logo on it, they also give it aftermarket internals and extra accessories.

What is this "aftermarket internals" you speak of? Airsoft Gi and Evike straight up told me they order over a 1/4th of there guns from the same factory. The only "aftermarket internal" upgrades there are are the ones that are put in the custom guns that Evike and Airsoft Gi remake..

The "tool to get off the battery box" is actually a winding tool for the magazines. You can get off the battery box by hand.

could someone with this gun please tell me how to take the flash hider off to put the barrel extension on??? it seems to be glued on there..... i tried a hair drier for 20 minutes and that did nuffin...... took a lighter to it and that did nothing but make it all black(wiped that off)..... i just bought an m203 long version for this(short was sold out) and it will look weird without the barrel

The fact that the body is plastic and not metal is all that is deterring me from purchasing this rifle. I really wish Echo 1 made a M4 or something that was full metal. So now I am gonna buy a UTG M4. Good review though. I have had an echo 1 and know people who own them they are really nice guns if your not looking for a full metal gun, even though they do make some full metal guns just not M4's sadly.

I settled on the cranestock because I didn't want exposed wires, I really wanted everything contained, and the battery box seems like it could catch something and break off. And the Cranes stock isn't as ugly in real life, which I am very happy about. I would rather have the regular adjustable stock, but I am content with the crane.

there is a difference between the jg hk416 and the e1 hk416. the e1 has metal bushings while the jg has nylon bushings.

the echo 1 also comes with another outer barrel, and the jg's comes in 3 versions: peq2 style, crane stock, and full stock.

the e1 only has the peq2 style.

the thing in the beginning, 0:35 behind the bag of bb's isn't a tool to get on your battery box. it is a butterfly winder used to wind the 2 metal clips what it does is it puts the winding in a slight lower gear so you can wind it fast and pump bb's even faster

the AGM 416 is also good and it has a Full metal body. but it is not as known as other 416's so I don't know

Yeah, that's what I like about the AGM 416, is that it has a metal body unlike the Echo 1, and according to the specs they say it shoots at 450 FPS.

yes i agree in real world but as for comparing the known equivalent to airsoft players was the intent of the comment. as for real world h&k make far superior weapons to most othe rcompanies....and i think their better than sig's have fired both in hand gun and carbines. have fired colt, armalite, amd a few custom version of the m-4's with and without ris railes and both piston or gas blowback design and h&k piston blowback are by far superior. as fo rhand guns h&k USP full and compacts. the best

i don't know what gun to get. the KWA m4a1 or the echo 1 614. i know the KWA is waay better internally and externally but i never had a gun looking like the 416. also full rails and comfortable grip. it's cheaper. more range. i don't know if i should get the waay better gun or more personal reference gun.

I agree with cozziwong. That tool is just a hex wrench for winding the mag. That allen screw that you mention about the battery box is just for looks. The Battery box isn't a PEQ style box either. And finally the battery box doesn't fit large style batteries at all. Other than that it's a great review and gun.
