Working to end two wars, ending torture, working to close Guantanimo Bay, effectively ending the 21st century nuclear arm's race with Russia, opening up peace talks with Iran, same with N Korea, and assisting in peace talks between Israelis and Palestinians. I disagree with awarding president Obama with the NPP so early, when nobody knows what's going to happen, but remember they are looking at this from their perspective, not ours. President Obama made drastic changes in his approach to foreign affairs, his addresses to the muslim world in Egypt and Turkey, talking to Russia, making the UN ambassador Susan Rice a cabinet member, thus giving an upgrade in relevance to the UN, he's position on torture and international treaties, and more.
