On this part of the main line we are blessed in not having those unsightly wires or posts obscuring the shot, or to many modern pieces of railway equipment in the way. Guide Bridge is slightly different as we can get away with that because the pantograph system there was around at the end of steam.

This may be a little hard on the eye but I like to help recreate that atmosphere of those days of steam; a tribute if you like to those days and to those who've helped preseve these great engines. I also like to see how things would have looked along the main line in my area, in those days, too.
