No Problem...after having X-Plane 9 and 10 now, I still think FSX is better with REX and Scenery...LOL

I just thought that it has to be better, since it's approved by FAA.

But it looks like XP is just for Home Cockpits and also has very limited views. Also it's a hell to use the controls, because it has the the stupidest GUI, I've erver seen.

So after all...FSX is still the best Program around, specially with REX.

Can't wait for MS Flight!!!

You'd get a better video if you upped the graphic quality, Then record the video at half-speed and run the sim at 1/2 speed too. The current settings are obviously very low- the aircraft graphics are too blurred to read and the landscape almost empty.

I hate the bugs in FSX!!! Some times it crashes in flight and that is annoying!!!

I had no graphical one like yours(airport disappeared), but the surging and other funny stuff is well known, like simulation-failures in the ILS. I like FSX too, but let's face it, X-Plane is better.

But it still is the best way to start flying and have fun...if you get it to run.

I couldn't even run the software on my computer. I have an Asus motherboard, 3 GHz RAM, 512 Mhz stand alone video card, not attached to the motherboard, and other similar resources. Yet I got to the point where FSX wouldn't even boot up. I am appalled at the level of resources FSX takes to run, I now have to purchase new motherboard, 6GHz RAM New Intel Processor and other more advanced resources so FSX can run. If anyone can guide me as to what would run FSX please pm and I will be very thankful

@journeyer58 I run FSX on full power on my 1.5ghz HP with 4gb RAM & ATI Radeon 3200HD ...well except for the trees. The key to getting FSX to run good scenery is turn the trees & generic buildings OFF then you can crank everything else up all the way. Turning the clouds to simple also helps if u dont really care about big fluffy clouds

I somewhat see FSX as this...except graphics are model quality are better and have some buildings visible, but no custom ones :(. And it also REALLY drops the frame rate during and after a landing (by like 20 FPS). Any suggestions on what to do?

@Flightkid9 I would upgrade it if I could, and the computer is as old as FSX itself (made in 2006) so it can run high graphics, but with a low frame rate. How would you change the config to get high graphics and high frame rate? And more importantly, HOW DO YOU MAKE FRAPS NOT DROP FRAME RATES?! That one in particular really bothers me.

@boeing521 well to answer your fraps question, if you have a dual core or quad core than set the affinitymask so that fsx uses all but 1 of the cores and set fraps to only use the 1 core that fsx isn't using, that's how i've got mine set up and i don't lose any fps when i use fraps now.
