I loved the video!! I'm from Illinois and we will be traveling to Hawaii in December. I won't have loads of money to spend on stuff to take back to friends and family so I definately want to go to the swap meet! Is there a good place to purchase cheap jewelry to take back to my daughters? We want to try to stay away from the expensive "tourist traps"

Mahalo Wayde, I love that stuff. I am from Colorado, went to Oahu this May. we loved it . Stayed at Ko Olina, we are coming back in 2013. The place is paradise and was one of the best vacations we ever had. Lots more to do and see. I can order the Enjoy Li Hing powder online, thanks for the info.

Wayde, what kind of pineapple is that, I had some in May 2011 at the swap meet and it was the best thing ever and I don't even like pineapple. Can't find anything about it anywhere. the stuff was great!

@kehoe312 Braddah...it's a regular Pineapple tossed around in a sorta like power called LI HING MUI, it is a dried plum in powder form. This always gives it a reddish color to the pineapple after mixed up in the bag but you can mix with any fruit if you like. I don't know where you are from but if you are looking for some to put on your fruit and you're out of the state of Hawaii? ck this out...this is the one I use: ENJOY LI HING POWDER

went there.... great place for shopping treasures at good prices.... I've found there, hawaiian shirts, luggage as we 've bought too much and somethig special and specific from Hawaii : 2 sort of roots that you put in the ground and they make the lei flowers ... 1 year later ( today) no flowers but great leaves... hope it was not a fake...

One of our favorite places to visit every time we are in Hawai'i. We have been going to that Swap Meet for years. You can find just about anything there. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

The swap meet is awesome! And it seems so few tourists know about it. Anyone I've ever known that has come to Hawaii, I always tell them to make sure they stop by the swap meet! Great deals for sure!
