Ok so I still haven't been able to figure one out, BUT, I suddenly remembered a boxcar covered in graffiti with a spray tag "JA38EAL" in boxy letters! That train car has been gone for a year but it was in the same spot for months on an unused track right next to the freeway, I bet hundreds of thousands have seen it, but I wonder who else would remember it if I asked them about JA38EAL? I even Googled it, but found nothing. I wonder if the vandal was a lefty... and where that boxcar is now...
