This happened in Brampton, Ontario. This was in a gym parking lot. The driver was an Indian woman. The blue car belonged to a gym employee and it was a Hyundai. Hyundai Canada gave him a new car as a present.

She must have confused her SUV with a Toyota and figured she'd jam the gas pedal down. Then when she was charged and tried to use the Toyota excuse, the DOT/NASA commissioned study provided it wasn't a fault of Toyota's electronic controls and also pointed out she wasn't driving a Toyota.
