DUDE! i have a black shadow convertible! but its in a lot better shape lol. its me and my twins first car, but he is building his Shelby Dodge Charger, and im building a Dodge Omni GLH-T. They are going to be our long lasting cars. I just love how people dont know how much power these things have.
I currently have 2 1993 Sedans and an ES turbo Vert.
I never really liked these cars, till my wife and I met, and I fell in love with hers, I alone have racked up almost 100K in hers within the past 3 years, and it just wont quit.
I've got my 2 she's got her one, planning to sell one of the sedans and give her the Vert for her summer car.
Great car! I got a '91 2.5 turbo Shadow like this one, 5 speed manual, not convertible but has the original sunroof. I love the turbos and the boost gauge.
i have a 93 plymouth duster.. these cars are amazing. my mom had the 2.5 turbo shadow.. i with they would have kept that car so i could swap motors. if you have the money you can build up that 2.5 and have it pump some serious power. google, forward motion inc.
@firefoxx04 The same company has mods for the V6 found in the Duster. I'll send you a link on ideas for enhancing the Mitsu V6. There's even one for turbocharging it.
HOLY SHIT!!! I remember these cars my freind had 1. these cars haul ass. But it seems like the turbo models are rare or something you just dont see alot.
You need to throw a front mount intercooler on that bad boy, get bigger injectors and up the boost... those 2.5s really liven up when you intercool them .
Ya there is virtually nothing available for the tbi cars performance wise. If its a standard it will be slightly better but the tbi cars are slow as mole-asses! If your just looking for fuel economy they're ok, but if you want performance get a turbo car- cheap power gains!
Ya... sweet ride :P I've got an '88 Turbo as well. No intercooler as of yet and a leaking bov but it still kicks the hell out of camaros and civic si's :D

i have the same car but mine is a 1988 and i also did my valve cover in those colours. i also have a exhaust just like yours and soon i'm putting in a cold air intake filter and intercooler with a type s bov. so far i have the intercooler and bov but now i need the tubing. any more ideas that would add power and make them look better.

I miss my 92 Shadow convertible. I drove it 18 years. It was a hot little car. Mine was emerald green with tan roof, absolutely beautiful.

Man I have a 90 dodge shadow 2.5 no turbo and I have a rod knock now. But it has lasted 21 years pretty crazy they reliable and even mine is fast
