Dear Frankmelb, It is wonderful that you are self-taught, but it is all the more logical to continue to learn new things, for instance what people call these notes, so that communication is possible. I find it very hard to understand why you wouldn't be curious enough for instance to compare your guitar's tuning to a piano so you know what the strings are tuned to, and so you can tell others.
Thank you for sharing your tuning It is indeed DGDGBE tuning (open G). This tuning is used very often for Enrique Granados' transcriptions. Perhaps, frankmelb, you could do an oud-inspired improv on En El Jardin or one of Spanish Dances. That would be awesome! Thank you for sharing
asif jedan 3ala el rad el meakher, bas wala himak ane ham marat arid akaser el guitar malti, bas hatha howa jamal el guitar, methel 3elakat el wa7ed weya 7abibta (t-thawej hwaya bas ma t3ofha). 3id el clip witha ma jay teftehem geli.
It appears that the tuning would be DGDGBE low to high, strings 6 to 1 respectively.

Hi sagiroxs, thank you for the comment. The strings are nylon strings. The guitar is "Alhambra C3" and the strings brand is called "Luthier".
Thank you

Re - Sol - Re - from the bottom string and for the 3 high strings , is it traditionnal tuning?
t4rbool 3 years ago
the 3 high strings, yeas they are normal guitar tuning.
But the thing is just me playing around with tuning, nothing traditional about it.
