Once they understand that the expression they use is offensive, they can decide to continue using it or not. That's their right to exercise freedom of speech, as hateful as it may be. It applies to having the right to express political ideas or to criticize the methods used by our government without fearing that we will be jailed or fined for doing so. If you're going to try to use Freedom of Speech to protect your behavior, make sure you know what it means.

This commercial series are the best commercials I have EVER seen. To think I thought the TV industry was going down. I have a HUGE respect for these commericals. I'm all for gay rights, but I'm still gonna say things are gay. The word has grown to have two meanings now...that's just how it is. It's like calling a persons skin dark (which has no negative meaning) and calling a person's personality "dark" (like he's a very negative person). A word, at a basic level, is just a sound. This commercial series are the best commercials I have EVER seen. To think I thought the TV industry was going down. I have a HUGE respect for these commericals. When people call things gay, it actually affects people. I have a friend that gets bullied everyday, beaten up, told he's going to hell. Sexual orientation is not something to joke about. that commercial is a waste of time and gay. and saying that SOMETHING is gay is not an insult if its just an idea and not alive.Now, if your calling somebody whos gay that's straight then it would be an insult because calling them a word that there not and they are a living being.please dont reply unless you want a good conversation. im not here to start a war.
