California Nursing Home Neglect and Elder Abuse

I use to work as an Occupational Therapist for many years, and this kind of abuse is nothing new to me. That's why I got out of it a few years ago. Have worked all over the USA and California has to be the worst IMO. This lady is not oxygen deprived. She probably just got tired of wearing it around her nose or she many have developed a sore there. She may not even need it, it's just another way for these NH to make millions off our elderly...

I saw it her mouth care and dentures were being neglected.The dentures had caked residue and foul smell like they hadn't washed her mouth for months.

it's not dementia, if you notice she has a canula on her forehead obviously she has a lung condition, my father uses a canula as well, she's not wearing it which means most likely she's confused due to oxygen deprevation....can't see any abuse at all, I thought the lady speaking to her was reassuring???

i don't know what this is trying to prove, there is no evidence of neglect here. This is an elderly woman with dementia and it looks like her family is trolling for a lawsuit. Funny, all the time they spend trying to create something from nothing, but they can't take her home to take care of her.

@bigfig1900 There is more to this video, and you must try to find it here on YouTube. I don't want to tell you exactly what is filmed, but TRUST ME it was a case of abuse like you never seen. It has to do with her mouth. Please look for it, maybe under DENTURES
