This is not the Maglev, it's just our Monorail, however, we do need the Maglev it would do the economic downfall a favor.

Maglevs have wide bases and traverse at very high speeds, However the turning radius of Maglev trains are limited due to their ultra high speed. One thing to note in this video - it is a monorail and not a maglev, read the title next time! (:

That is a really great view you got from right there! I agree it is a hidden treasure, although the whole northern half of the current track runs on Paradise Rd. It does have some spectacular views from the back though!

It got stuck one single time, in 2004, when it first opened, and never since. You also must take into consideration that this is a brand new technology NEVER used before. There will ALWAYS be early problems to work through in the beggining. The Las Vegas Monorail is in fact the most cost-effective, and fastest mode of transportation on and around the Strip, provided you are going somewhere within reasonable distance.

Not to mention that there are catwalks in between the beamways that people can walk on to get to a safe spot to get down.

@VegasTrin point is that it wasn;t new technology... that is a state of the art 1971 Walt disney world mk IV monorail... with a nose job.
