Roz Kelly icon of the series? Personaly, i believe the shark was way more iconic and far more memerable. Roz Kelly went on to become a drug addict and go on rampages shooting car's and houses with her 12 gauge shotcut, where as the shark, well he went on to star in the movie Jaw's and then star in his own regular TV series jabberjaw. He also did a short stint in comedy as "Landshark". Later on he did it all director, producer and star of 'Shark Week' which honors him once a year :-D J/K
Fonzie wasn't the only one that loved Pinky. I had a crush on her when this first aired. I'll never forget that sexy outfit of hers. If that was really the 50s she might have been arrested. lol
@Nickcat5 Tv Guide article fall 1977,was about Suzi Quatro playing Pinky's little sister,Thats was where Ron Howard said"Well Roz was ok,but i don't really miss being called Opie-EVERY single day .Henry Winkler more or less said"Suzi is a breath of fresh air,i can do my job without being the butt of jokes,comments" Roz had sex appeal but i can see how she rubbed people the wrong way-indeed
@deckard97 Yea, By the time all of this was going on,I was REALLY tired of the show. I completely stopped atching soonafter .Suzi Quatro,while talented,Had a Hair-style that would have put her on the outs with people then, It was a 70's style as was most of the cast aside of Fonzie & even his image was pretty much on the way out. I noticed that the people who still watched the show didn't care much about authenticity,or were too young to have seen what was what then.
Roz Kelly's Pinky character was supposed to be an ongoing, semi-regular of the series, but she pissed off the cast and crew. Evidently she thought she had it made and began acting like Pinky behind the cameras as well as in front of them.
Valid point,but what you & I think doesn't carry too much weight believe it or not. Pissing u & me off is one thing,pissing off powerful people is another.
..and where's miss Pinky now??

One of the stories about Roz Kelly is that she walked onto the set doing 'Fonzie' imitations and no one was amused at all.
Nickcat5 2 years ago
@Nickcat5 That was the least of it-she kept calling Ron Howard,"Opie"
deckard97 11 months ago
@deckard97 didn't know that,But I can't say I'm surprised.

Roz Kelly only appeared in THREE episodes, yet somehow became an icon of the series.

@chewybunz If only a negative one.
Nickcat5 2 years ago
Well, she isn't thought of in a bad light by viewers, just the cast and crew.
