All i can say Frank Mir is the greatest submission artist in the history of MMA. I don't think you can really argue that now, it was a coin flip between him and Big Nog and Mir broke Nog's arm. Frank Mir holds the record for submissions in the UFC and when you put another fighters ju jit su with Frank's, there's no way to really combat it.

Frank Mir is my hero. He is technical in every aspect of MMA. Not only is he an exceptional fighter, he is also a very bright and smart person. Before going off to training I watch his videos, when Im back from training I watch them again, I watch them in the morning and at night, 24/7. I have his photos framed in my room and I absolutely idolize him. One thing he could improve on is respect to other fighters; comments he made about brock dying in the octagon. Apart from that, FRANK MIR MY HERO!

I don't get why people hate Frank Mir. I think he's the most honest, straight forward and down to earth fighters out there. He's got an interesting take on life and some people may not like that, but he's completely honest about it. I'd rather someone be honest and disagree with their opinion than just listen to them dodge the question for fear of offending people. You're going to piss off someone, so you may as well say what you think.
