The hissing is actually (in the bellydance world) a form of expressing delight at a dancer's performance - like we might gasp or say 'wowwwww' - usually during a performance at a slower sensual part.
Hey this might have been me. But do any of you guys hear hissing near the middle of the first dance? I've been dancing for a while now and I've never heard an audience hiss.
This is the best!!! to see them so well. Their faces and the fun they have as well as how beautifully mesmerizing they are. Such Talent !!!!!!!! I Adore them!~
I to bad their arn't more videos from this. It would be so awsome to have a split screan of Zoe's face and Rachel's. And Mardi's, were ever she was hiding.
You lucky person who got to sit up front. I was at the show and i left for it super early so i could get a good seat but my friend missed her ferrie so we got there like half an hour before it started. I'm rather amazed we even got seats. But my oober lucky dance teacher got to hang out back stage and drive Rachel and Zoe around to and from the workshops the next day.
Hey, I think you did great. You captured some close-up facial expressions for those of us who can't be there in person. Lord knows they'll never come to Ohio, ha-ha. And the sound is great. Thanks much for posting!
