That's a really stupid spot for the roll in. The roll in should be on the left or right. It's also ideal to have the roll in taller than the ramp itself.
@DavidEvans1231 I know what you are saying but this ramp is growing with my 15 year olds skill level so I created a gap that he could get used to and it worked, he now hits big gaps. bigger than I am willing to build in my small backyard. also I am a carpenter so changing the ramp is not very hard. thanks for the usefull tips and comments. you should upload a vid of you riding
nice halfpipe, i'm making one, thinking 8 feet wide cause i dont have a lot of money, yours looks about that wide, is it wide enough or should i wait and have it wider?
@SexiiBen My ramp is 12 feet wide and 5' 6" tall...I first built it 8 x 4 but it was way too small even for skateboarding so I added 4 more feet to the width....save yourself the headache...build it 12 wide
@jerrynsuedelavega okay thanks, 12 is kinda awkward so I think I'll just go with 16 and do 6 foot high? gonna cost like 700+ instead of 300 but I guess its worth it, need a new bike first :/
@SexiiBen Bigger is better....you should check out your local ReStore or go to home depot or lowes and ask if they have any "cull" lumber, that is wood that is a little crooked or cracked or plywood that has mold....anyway they usually sell that stuff real cheap and it works fine for building ramps....I bought some of my wood that way. the rest was leftover construction materials from work.....; Ramp =$150 ; Bike = $1450 from dans comp
@jerrynsuedelavega k thanks for the idea, and what bike is 1450 on danscomp? that website's supposed to be cheap :P I'm in canada so shipping is too much I'm getting a fit trl signature in a few weeks, hope my current bike lasts til then lol

@DavidEvans1231 also we have a removable roll in box that is 20" tall and attaches anywhere you desire on either side of the ramp
