see i want a small block V6 69 camaro, four linked with a special radio that looks original AM radio, but USB compatible. they have those, idk what they are called. and then, all GM black. interior just like that. and then SS badging. fuel efficieny, nice ride, and a hot car. nothing is better.
I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree
Its not a true big block car.. look at the heater hoses... plus the stripes are wrong for a 396 car anyway...hell the grill isnt even painted... screw that....
You really think the central office production ordinance would let them put a max power big block in these cars? Sure... make it 12.5:1 with a huge solid cam, and aluminum intake to make 500hp, see how insurance works out, you wouldn't have been able to get it. And back then a cars maximum allowed power was based off weight.
But by today's standards the 325, 350 and even 375 hp versions are pretty outdated, but extremely easy to get huge power from these motors with simple mods.
@tamapalagi Because it's so hard to flip open a catalog and buy the replacement parts you need to restore it. You can literally buy every nut and bolt to restore one, there is no restoring involved, no real work has to be put in to it, which makes even you're average Susie home maker able to restore one.
oh my im only 14 but this has been my dream car for quite a while so even though im having a tough time learning a stick (my problem is easing of the clutch and pushing the gas cuz i push the gas too much and not releasing the clutch) but im getting better but its all in practice for this car!! or one like it so if you guys are in business for a few more years ill be planning a purchase of one of these
When I hear the sound of the engine and the form of this car, I can't belive it. It gives me the creeps! I'm seventeen now, but it is my dream to buy a Chevrolet Camaro SS even if the price makes it impossible.
Very, very great video! I'll always remember the name 'Flemings Ultimate Garage'.
