  • @donyboy73 - thanks for working on the video. I'm learning a lot from ya!

  • @jessevardaman thanks for watching!

  • Great Videos!

    Quick question:

    Do you have any videos about fixing the oil pump or cleaning the oil channel to the bar?

    Thanks

  • @jessevardaman video is in the works

  • Needing some help reassembling the throttle trigger assembly on my MS 180c Mini Boss. Not sure how the spring goes. Thanks in advance. Great video's would have saved me som time if I found these first.

  • @awags76 i have vids of carb repair for this saw and it shows how to re-assemble thr throttle trigger

  • can you do a video on echo chainsaws taking it apart and repairing it

  • I already replaced the carburetor kit, cylinder and piston with new rings (stihl hole digger) But i still can not adjust the carburetor... suddenly the machine will run high without me given full throttle even when i close the high speed adjustment (H) all the way in. How can i make a leak test in crankcase? I tried to spray startgas and WD40 but still can find the leak anywhere... If there were leak then the machine would go high speed when i spray the crankcase right? But it doesn´t. Pl. help

  • @nyta2006 if there is an impulse line and or intake boot make sure to check them for cracks,

  • thanks for your videos. I have a stihl hole digger that make problems. I can not adjust th carburator. Sometimes its idle good and suddenly the engine is running high by itself without me giving gas! I have checked the engine for leaks and spraying startgas all over but it is not starting to go with higher speed. Can the engine running high by itself if with someone had pure gasoline without oile? Or maybe bad cylinder and pistons? Carburator is adjust by the manual. What wrong? Thanks

  • @nyta2006 take the muffler off and look at the piston and rings to make sure it is not scratched and that you have good compression. you might have to replace the carburetor kit

  • donyboy, on a Poulan 2075, the fuel line coming out of the tank has a plastic fitting at intersection with the tank. When replacing fuel line, how in the heck do you install the line with the stone inside the tank and also be able to install line coming from carb to this fitting! What is the sequence of getting this plastic fitting and lines connected.

  • .

    my stihl wont remain idle and it shuts off if throttle trigger is not at full.

    ive set L and H screws to manufacturer's initial setting, cleaned air filter and it has a new spark plug but still not idling.

    i have yet to replace the spark screen and to replace the fuel catch.

    what else might it be?

    -.-

  • @EssedariusMaiestas what model do u have?

  • .

    @donyboy73,

    good question.

    the saw is my father's and he doesn't know (the decal wore off/fell off some time ago).

    is there an engraved label inside a piece of the housing or something?

    -.-

  • .

    @donyboy73,

    ok, the one without the label is the husqvarna..but that is not the one with idling issue.

    the one with idle issue is the stihl 036. its white bottom with orange top. he said he's had it awhile but stopped using it cuz the chainsaw won't remain on in idle.

    -.-

  • @EssedariusMaiestas can u tell me what carb it has, it will be ZAMA, WALBRO OR TILLOTSON, 1 OF THE 3

  • .

    @donyboy73,

    it's a zama make. i actually took it out cuz i couldn't see any labeling on it at all. cleaned the outside of it and there the name was right on top.

    -.-

  • @EssedariusMaiestas there should be a L H screw and a third screw to set the idle.

    i think the replacement carb kits are as follows MAJOR REPAIR KIT: RB-31

    MINOR REPAIR KIT: GND-21

  • .

    @donyboy73,

    yes it has those three screws.

    ok, i'll look into those kits.

    which part of the carb do you think has failed?

    or is it best to just replace it altogether?

    thanks.

  • @EssedariusMaiestas put a new carb kit in it, u may want to ajust the idle screw first to see if that will do the trick

  • the fuel tank is so small

  • @Smallgasengine1

    Yeah, it is. My uncle has the same saw and it runs out of gas fairly fast. Other than that, it's a great saw.
