It might just be me, but it sounds like Kefka's theme (not this, but the tune that occasionally pops up here) was the inspiration for Cackletta's theme( Mario and Luigi: super star saga)

if you mean favorite villain in any game, no FF villain is my fav. But within FF I prefer Kefka for personality, Sephiroth for appearence and fighting style. I can't choose between Dancing Mad and OOA really, they're both too epic.

I'm pissed that Square didn't put this version in Dissidia. If they were willing to put a remix of One Winged Angel in it, surely they should have put in a remix of Dancing Mad. But no, they favor Sephy once again... And WHY THE HECK haven't they done something else with FFVI yet?! They should remake it for the PSP, NOT the DS. Yes, and also technically they didn't do FFV justice either, as Clash on the Big Bridge is Gilgamesh's music, and not Ex-Death's. I'm disappointed that they didn't do a new version of the The Extreme, and just chose to use the original instead. And in regards to Kuja, yes, they should have used Evil Messenger rather than just using the original boss music.

Well, Gilgamesh's theme is a bit better than Exdeath's, so they did do V some justice. But they should have put in Neo Exdeath's theme as the other song.

maybe more than just 2 songs from each game would have been better. remixes of dancing mad, kuja's theme, exdeath's theme, and J.E.N.O.V.A. could have made it into the game. I do feel that just using the original The Extreme works fine, though, cuz it is amazing as it is. but getting all of these (except for JENOVA; that may be my fav not main theme song from 7) are in the game in their original states, they just have to be unlocked. I think that they are fine as their snes versions.
