@MatthewKnarr Nope my wife has a C6 coupe and I have the Z06 and hers doesnt come with the butterfly valve. But this trick does work it sounds mean as shit without the fuse but it is annoying as hell if you are wide open on the freeway. but cruising in 1st gear sounds like nothing but gorilla balls!

That is a great little mod! I wish it was available on my 3" Borla Touring system... It's not the loudest exhaust but, sometimes I wish I could make it a little quieter, like early in the morning ect ect. Thanks for the video :)

What do the valve do exactly? Do they bypass the mufflers?

I put one of the switches on mine, expecting to close it now and then, but it sounds so good in town and on the highway I just leave them open all of the time.

I love the sound at 70mph, reminds me a little of my older zo6.

Okay, one question: if you disable the valves and run them full time, will it affect MPG? Or it makes no difference...?

@triplexxxsatyr i have not done real world testing, but exhaust theory tells me that your MPG should improve or stay the same.
