  • these are excellant, saved me lots of money. i've nearly learnt thai just from your videos. you need to send lots more.please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is REALLY helpful. Thanks!

  • Thanks for a very clear video on how the numbers are.. but im still kinda confused....

would 150 baht be nung roi haa sip?

    Really enjoyed your video..

  • you are correct. but most people just leave out nung meaning "1" and just say roi haa sip because everyone knows it is designating a number in the 100s. but if you want to say a number in the 200s, 300s, and onward, you have to distinguish the saying by adding song, sum, see, etc.

  • Your english is very good, don't worry!

And thanks again for your videos!! Very useful!

  • Hi! Your videos are very useful for me, easy and fun, nice way of learning... please keep posting!!!

  • I like your videos, and you are also funny to watch.

    Be blessed, Mike

  • Thank you MrAsia2007. Your videos are quite good and helpful mak maak.

  • You don't need to apologize for your English...it's very good and easy to understand!

  • To change "er" to "liang" is actually not the most confusing thing. I now know how to say 100,000 in English, Chinese and Thai. The problem is that in Eng, you say one hundred thousand (one hundred sth), in Chinese, shi wan (ten sth), in Thai, Nueang Sean (one sth)

In English, thousand then you don't use a new word until million, in Chinese, one step further, in Thai, you keep using the based words until 10,000,000! So when I say 1,000,000 in these language, I have to think really hard!

  • BTW, I have opened two account, manuisscum and

HKelenafan are the same guy, me! Kood-tor krup (sorry)

  • Sorry, miss typed, of course, I knew that twenty is er shi.:P

  • yeah, but beyond being incorrect, the thai numbers are just like the Chinese ones, once you learn the pronunciation differences. Thai changes 'neung' to 'et' at those places, but Chinese also changes 'er' to 'liang' with counters and other situations...not much simpler, really. Just different. Acutally, after learning Chinese numbers the Thai ones were easier.

  • twenty is just shi er ??

    twenty is er shi :)

  • Chinese is easier. One is yi, ten is shi and eleven is just shi yi. Lastly two is er and twenty is just shi er. Thai makes things too complicated lol. Of course, English and Japanese as well.

  • twenty is er shi not shi er

    shi er is twelve

  • good lessons! very clear and easy to understand! keep up the good work

  • Thank you so much for your very wonderful Thai lessons. You speak and explain things so clearly and so well

Please continue with further lessons if you can.
