What a beautiful story and what a lovely film. I have three sons and am searching for little things to do together that can become special traditions. I grew up making snowflakes too but we never saved them year to year or filled our windows. We strung them in chains around the top of rooms. I love your tradition so much that I might just co-opt it if you don't mind. How did you store the snowflakes you chose to save year to year?
