Yah, It is not stock at all. Cam heads, pistons. etc... like I have said a million times, it is not mine. This guys was in the same club at one point years ago. mine had mild work like full exhaust, Donaldson Blackwing, Diablo, and a Full tune. Still VERY fast. I never had the place to take it over 175. They do have great brakes. lol.

what i meant by cold was no oil pressure.

It takes about 1-2 seconds for oil to get flowing everywhere watch your oil pressure gauge.

Does the cam account for a lot of the noise change? Thing is in my country we DONT do V8's, it's all pocket rocket japanese cars which i suppose are good at what they do :0) . It would be impossible for me to find an engine tuner, what would you recommend for good streetable power and acceleration? Nothing silly.

Exhaust is being tested here after being modified. The motor is heavily modified. The car is a daily driver.

Your motor is completely different. There are a lot of different cams to choose from. Don't go by sound. that is worst thing to do. It would be to your advantage to go to A FEW performance shops and get their OPINION. They can get very confident in what they say which cam to choose but it really depends on what is in the motor already and what you honestly are going to use it for. by the way they now make a G6X3 but that does not mean it is what you NEED.

Its not bent. If you read ALL of the comments, it was just modified and tested. It was loose then snugged up. this is not unusual on a new exhaust.

Yes, kind of has the same wide open exhaust sound. The exhaust is very modified and totally custom. The car is way not stock. As I stated in other replies, it is not mine. It is a member of a club I am in. I wish my C5, when I had it sounded like that one. I regret selling my C5 and now I am selling my Camaro SS and bying another C5.

The prices vary GREATLY! You literally get what you pay for! Most really good exhaust systems for Corvettes, Like C5 and newer are what I would call mass produced custom exhausts. You can get cheaper ones but there is definitely no mistake when you have a quality system on the car as far as DYNO numbers and sound are concerned. On your Chevy COLO. I would just go to an exhaust shop and get something like a Spintec or something like it.

Yes, it did move down slightly. The exhaust had just been modified and this was the first turn of the key since the mod. It was repositioned and tightened up.

Yes it is very nice. This one is not mine though. He is a member of the Vette club I am in. I sold my C5 and bought a 00 lifted Sierra 4x4, 01 Yukon and a 00 Z28/SS/SLP numbered black on black numbered 6spd Camaro. I love my 00 SS though I am getting another Vette but am moving soon so I have to wait about four months.

I know! I can get enough of that sound! I sold my 6 speed C5 Corvette but just got a 6 speed 2000 Camaro Z28/SS/SLP with an LS1. I am putting the same setup in the motor. Of course the exhaust will be different but the SLP exhaust on the SS already sounds nice. The Vette in the video is not mine but a member of a Vette club I am member of. He is in Texas.
