I don't know enough about the topic to refute it but I would not call it an ambiguous verse like that a scientific miracle. Did the Greeks already know about bees? How many other literary texts from our past contain verses that can be interpreted to coincide with modern science? Google 'the scientific method' to see how research into claims should be conducted. Claims like this don't impress, there are millions of them. People will aways prove what they want to believe...

And Allah has made the earth for you as a carpet (spread out). [Al-Quran 71:19]

THe Earth isn't shaped like an egg, and greek mathematicians knew the shape of the Earth and even the size within 400 km diameter using trigonometry about 700 or 800 years before the Qur'an. How often do you spread out a sphere? And if the Earth is not flat why does the sun land in a mud puddle according to the Qur'an. This book fails as a revelation. Quit believing Bronze age desert nomads, they were not all knowing, just speculative and often wrong.

Hello. I would just like to state historically, that the ancient Greeks, Chineese and Egyptians all figured out that the earth is round. However, they didn't all agree on the exact sie of the earth. However, if memory serves me correctly, the Greeks got the closest to deturmining the correct size.

The middle east has been at war since the crusades (it still hasn't stopped till now). Pakistan is only 63 years old and has already suffered 3 wars. Afghanistan has been at war since the start of history. There was no space for our technological improvement after the crusades.
