oh, the 5150 is a great amp. but the V2 can give you quite a comparable tone with much more flexibility and clearer voicing.

the 5150 wasn't.. i dunno.. tight enough for me, it just wasn't the perfect sound for me.

he did in the past. he uses a randall these days. and i know why. the V2 Ninja's better than any 5150 (I own a 5150 and will sell it now, I know what I'm talking about :D)

the only thing i can think of, is the RM100 is all tube, and has a better clean. My V2 when perfectly setup tone wise(IMO), the master is at about half, and the other guitarist running a pure tube head, has his master at maybe 3. So it could have been a volume issue live...
