Can almost feel ma childhood toes dipping in the water there - as they did so often as a kid in my childhood home and birthplace of Nairn. You never knew how much something means til it's gone...!

It was lovely to have the beach to ourselves, with the exception of two dogs and a couple other humans... but it was a big stretch of beach so we were essentially alone. VERY nice.

iv went on holiday there every year and it dels lik my second home :)

I used to swim there all the time as a kid....it's warmest around November - although it's never that warm...lol
It's lovely to swim there when it rains - keeps the top few inches really warm.
Nice place to grow up.

The best part of the beach is over the other side of the pier. Would have been there every day in summer had the weather not been so poor :(
