@TheMrsRJM Sorry, but this is Aled Jones singing both as a treble and as an adult. Peter Auty did sing this for the film "The Snowman", something that Aled as always given credit to Peter for (see Aled's autobiography), but Aled took the song into the charts back in 1985 when he did a cover version of the song in an advert for the ToysRUs company. If you listen to videos on YouTube of Peter Auty's version, and of Aled's, you can hear that they are totally different..

@Wyrmshadow The trilled "R" is a technique, without the trill, sometimes the "r" sound (w/o the trill) is hard to distinguish, if you listen to a vast number of choral pieces, you'll notice most of them use the trill. This goes for anyone studying classical voice, amateur or professional. Sometimes I think singers and coaches over do it, as much as it polishes a piece, it can also hurt a piece there's an over-dramatization with soloists.

Choirboy Peter Auty from St. Paul's Cathedral was the singer of the original "Walking in the Air" used in the film. Aled Jones just did a cover of it as a single in 1985 and not much else. Not many people know that. Details from Wikipedia.
