Quick question man, I just recently bought the 2009 Focus, and I ordered it with the premium audio sound system. Just curious if you know whether it sounds good or not?
My Focus came with the basic system but sounds really good...I imagine the Focus with the Microsoft Sync installed sounds better.....but I do not know.
The Focus... what a great little car! I have a 2006. I prefer the exterior of the older ones but the interior of the newer ones. That sound system is the bomb!!! Both styles are really great cars!
When you play a CD/MP3, does the artist/track title show up on the dash? I am thinking of getting a Ford Focus Coupe and can't find enough info on the stereo.
Hi Patricia...when I insert a MP3 CD the artist/track title does show up on the display after you press the TEXT button. A regular CD does not show artist or track title on the display.
Thanks for your reply. It's nice to know you can get that feature without Sync. I wouldn't want Sync anyway. I've done my research on that, and the voice activated feature sucks apparently. It makes a lot of mistakes when you ask for a song or an artist. Plus I rarely use my cellphone, so screw it.
No buttons on your steering wheel? Or is the wheel cover you have covering buttons? I thought the buttons came standard on that car. Oh well, perhaps it's an upgrade I'll have to get.
I got the basic Focus version...mine came without cruise control so no buttons on the steering wheel. Mine came without power windows or power door locks, but I had some door lock actuators installed when my alarm was installed so I now have power door locks.
CoolTexan, the stereo system really sounds good--the cabin seems to have great acoustics. Did you buy the coupe or sedan? Is the handling taunt with good feedback? I'm waiting for the '09 model to show up on dealer lots soon.
I am looking to replace the wifes exploder with one of these. I think i am going for the SEC. So you like it? I cant wait to get the great gas MPG. Thanks for the vid!
cool. i was thinking about buying one. how is the ride? and does the speaker system really punch out or is it nothing special? is the sound bass-heavy? my in-car entertainment is very important to me and if i'm gonna get one with a sync, it better have some good speakers in there.
My Focus rides pretty dang good and rock solid. The CD player and speakers are quite good actually..the BASS is deep and sounds rich...maybe the one with sync has a better system I don't know..but mine is quite good.
Ford Focus is a good car & by the way great gas mileage

i saw in the reflection of my focus that it has exterior temp beside the time, could anyone tell me how to turn that on if you can?

I think that only works if you have the Focus with the Microsoft Sync installed.

I have a 2008 Ford Focus coupe. I got the base model as well but, I got a 5-speed. It sure is a fun car to drive and I love it.
