@leonakita (continued)... i think that was the last straw....adding a virtual unknown kid in his 20s to replace a legend like Phil Collins. Not to take away from Ray, but his addition combined with some depressingly, weak lackadaisical writing was to much to ask from a fanbase that had grown weary of overt lineup changes.

Truly sorry that things didn't work out with Ray Wilson. I thought his voice worked very beautifully with Genesis' full portfolio of songs...including the newer, more straightforward melodies that Mike and Tony were trying to put forth, back then. This acoustic performance is very honest and pure, musically. It's too bad that the fan-base would not support the newer venture they were trying to embark upon. Thanks, Adrian, for providing such a clean upload for all of us to enjoy!

I agree. He didn't have the chance to show what he can really do. I love Phil Collins and Gabriel but Ray was the best voice of Genesis and Calling all stations on of my favourites albums
