  • How can we tell whether it is a power regulator or a swithching MOSFET? Some images of IGBT also look the same. Do voltage regulators always begin with 78?

  • Significant amount of heat, hells yeah.. why the f*** do they develop something that burns everytime you run for 3~4minutes, i made a laser diode driver and LM317 gets so damn hot.. i did put aluminum heatsink on it, can someone tell me where to get these without getting hotter.. i need to run a LM317 based voltage regulator and it shouldnt get hot..

P.S: im a pharmacist.. i dont know most of it, be specific in a general language..

  • Terrible... Everyone search "Afromods" user instead... VERY detailed explanations.

  • thanks ;)

  • voce e esperto

  • is mosfet the same as voltage regulator

  • @013dirtdiver No. But they often have the same package and hence look very similar.

  • @Gunner3210 ok thanks for the info!

  • @013dirtdiver No. But it is possible to design voltage regulator circuits _with_ MOSFETs.

  • @madamerotten

Is there any way to distinguish mosfet from voltage regulator? Do they have any appearance differences, or does it always require checking the datasheet?

  • @RealationGames Some MOSFETs may physically resemble many voltage regulators (For example, an IRF540 looks just like an MC7805), so check the data sheets.

  • Como puedo adaptar un transistor aun modulo.?

  • gostei muito deste video..........vejam tambem meus videos são legais.

  • SEE THIS:

  • nonsense

  • how the hell are they 100 million of these on my processor

  • @entehrend its a computer.....

  • @entehrend A transistor is very simple and its easy to decrease it in size when u know how to deal with atoms and stuff. Its like one Brain-cell. Its super simple and you wonder how a bunch of these can actually make you think. Maybe they hit a dense of transistors that the computer starts to think by itself o_O. Scary somehow, imagine its not a hacker robbing your bank, its your own computer!!! Cyberdyne and Boston Dynamics will fuse with Google and create a new internet security named Skynet.

  • i have here a AZ431 . but is it a mosfet ??? or is it again a regulator...-_- insane

  • i have the middle one of those burnt to a crisp not the board that much just this peice mostly in my kenwood amp, where would i buy this and how much, is it an easy fix?? please help

  • yah this is the Transistor

  • hahahhahahahahm putooooooooooooooooo hahahahahahha deu a loka desculpa hahahhejhvjov

  • How about a single oscillating transistor circuit., the 2n2222 self oscillates with atmospheric coil flyback in the area: v=Lx5En4Yv9iY

  • Vf=Vi+a(t)

    d=Vi(t)+1/2a(t)^2

    Vf^2=Vi^2+2a(d)

  • what is the point of this video...

  • @stratdude83 Don't you get it, He's just explaining what transistors are for people who don't know but would like to know. Simple as that, now do you understand?

  • @BadRonald1 dont you get it dont you understand....its so simple dude...BLAH BLAH...why even comment

  • @stratdude83 ha ha ha Ok man ok why even comment that's what I say.

  • @stratdude83 To show of his transistors and his american accent (for non americans) lol.

  • how do you tell its a BJT? HBT also has 3 leads emitter, base, and collector

  • @mayavania the order of the leads

  • my major is physics and i have electronics 2

which display most of transistors tayps, structurs and woh these taansistors made form....realy fantastic

  • whats the mosfet's?

  • Transistors suck. Tubes FTW!

  • without transistors you would not have written that

transistors replaced lamps in computers thus making it possible for you to own one for less then $1.000.000 and having to replace thousends of lamps

  • Plus the fact that now transistors are only 32nm and hundreds of millions can fit in a chip.

  • i touched 1 of those b4 it was hot!!!! i think that chip was LM317.

  • Don't touch them when they're live.. Also, LM317 is a voltage regulator, not a transistor, and are known for getting very hot and often have heat sinks for this reason.

  • what would i have to but and where its a kenwood kac-624 its sealed no fan and theres one thats completely burned? from the side you hook it up at its the 2nd on the right. i need help with this cause i dont have enough money for someone else to do it. any ideas of what it is i couldnt read it, it was so burned but everything else stayed in pretty good condition or seems like it

  • if i do get this fixed im gonna add a small fan keep it cooler hopefully

  • im just learning about all this, so thank you it was very helpfull

  • jejeje, i didn´t understand

    (i´m spanis)xD

  • how fantastic!

  • what about it

  • semiconductors, the think possible you can post message

  • Supposedly the greatest invention of 20th century!

  • theres a diference between fets and mosfets

  • FET has two types. the MOSFET and J-FET.

  • ahahahahahah

  • Haha, twisted Transistor...

  • Grate? haha.
