same engine they used in saab 9-5 actually a good engine. Not a fan of vauxhalls myself, they are nice i agree and reliable n things. Just not my cup of tea really. No offence
I have the same 16v ecotec engine in my mk3 cavalier its not a touch on my old 1800 mk2 8 valve cavalier sri my mk2 was quicker and had tons of low down torque and far better high gear aceleration and it,s not as free reving as the 1800 my old 1800 used to rev right off the clock .
My X20XEV goes like stink, then again its only done 72k lol

Mk2 cavalier 1800 was 115 bhp not 90 the mk3 ,s were a lot lower power .

It is the same engine what chevy use lots of car companies use that make of engine because its a General Motors Ecotec engine.

yer they were a good engine but crap on the 90 bhp i would not get out of bed for that.
