@mycoolgoodvideos that may be true but its quite possible that all platforms for the next generation consoles will support bluray not because bluray is good (hd-dvd has better performance and picture) but because bluray has better security features for anti piracy, which is the ideal feature for games and not the space.

the 360 also uses dual layer discs which is good enough for games today

PS3 is awesome. People don't realize that the Blu Ray Disc player its self in the PS3 is worth $300. So technically the PS3 is $400 - $300 = $100 or $500 - $300 = $200. And PS3 has better games. Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted, Gran Turismo, Warhawk, Resistence, and Motorstorm. All exclusives. The only games the 360 has is Gears of War and Halo.

Dont get me wrong i love Microsoft, but not for 360, Microsoft is a great company for their DX10 API, Windows Vista and its Multi-threaded core and Aero Interface. Vista started off slow but so doesn't every new OS until it adapts to what the general public needs from the OS. Vista has so many advancements like 64bit capability (carries 64bits of data ever clock pass) for far greater performance, etc etc, etc.
