i dont know if you check the comments but i gotta thank you LeksServices, I found the DOS Museum link from your other vidoe, now im in memory lane with all my favorite childhood games that i thought i would never play again, thanx!!!
Oddly, I finally managed to find a much newer that I enjoy immensely, for pretty much the same reasons I enjoy this one.
It's called "Metal Drift." It's got FPS controls, which is a bit odd, but you drive a hover tank and it kinda' makes sense. You're goal is to get a ball and carry it to the opposing team's goal. And you get to blow shit up along the way. Good, mindless, entertainment with a sophistocated interface.
So you're saying that you could better play this game with a mouse and keyboard? And when is presenting the point that these games are better played with joysticks and that all your favorite games that should be played thus don't include them? Don't you see this as being even remotely similar to the games that you say aren't broken? Or is it just that you love to drive your car with a mouse and keyboard instead of the proper, efficient controls they use now?
I don't care what you play a game with, that's not what I am saying. You are saying this game is the best game ever and I am arguing that, I don't know why I am because it doesn't even need an argument. Just look at it.
"And when is presenting the point that these games are better played with joysticks and that all your favorite games that should be played thus don't include them?"
That sentence makes no sense. Especially after "and that all your favorite..."
I found a great game called "Metal Drift" which actually matches this one in Just Great Fun! =p
"Terminal Velocity" was just great fun to play. Metal Drift has a lot of the same "complaints" made against it as this game did, but it, too, is "Just Great Fun!" If you think a game with a fancy interface shouldn't be "Just Plain Fun" then I guess you just don't like playing games.
Metal Drift uses FPS controls, but you drive a hover tank around and blow shit up and try to get goals.
Was this the supposed hidden ship hinted in this game? It doesn't look any different from the old one.
