What the toad is actualy doing is pointing his toxin glands toward whatever is iritating it. So that if you bit him, you would get a mouth full of toxin instead of organs.
I've actualy had a few that would head butt my fingers if you would rub the top of their head.
@varnonzero is this a cane toad? Are other toads very poisonus? i thought that other than a few species, the whole poisonus things was a myth. If this is the case, i wanna yell at the screen, "STOP TOUCHING! OMG! YER GONNA GET TOAD HERPES!!!" no jk. :P
@MississippiMo Can't tell exactly what species it is, but it isn't a cane toad. All toads posses bufotoxin (toad poison). Cane toads just make more of it, with some extra stuff thrown in. If you were to gnaw on this guy it would probably just taste really bad. Bufotoxin is like the most bitter substance in the universe. If you were a small animal like a rat, then maybe you would get high and/or sick. These guys just don't make enough toxin with the right kind of stuff to effect humans.
