Hi joedalton64 i thought you were going to tell me how it works on a Mac. The guy in the video,not the young lad, said that it only worked on a PC.

Mine is exactly the same as in the video. In another video the adapter is different, i do not know why? The disc problem,mine would not eject. I have watched about 3 videos about this pen and the only solution i can come up with that its not compatible with the Apple Mac.

How did you play the videos on the laptop? Mine won't let me play the videos it says I need a codec and I just can't find the right codec! I use a Windows 7 Home..Can you help?

@NadineLovesTravel Hi there, make sure that the video file format is compatible with the program that your trying to run it on, so for example if your using windows media player make sure that the video is a WMV file. If you need to change the file format you should be able to download a program that does that. I think theres one called any video converter. Tell me if that works and if it doesnt i'll try and think of another solution.

@libertyfromny hey, yeah i have had this for 2 years now and it was really good. just a few months ago it stopped working but it was really good when it was working. It is good for recording documents because it has really good quality video the only drawback is that it has bad quality sound but it maybe different for every one.

Go to videolan.org and download software (VLC) and it video and sound began to work.

i have videolan loaded in my pc that plays almost every kind of video files easily.mine one plays in it easily.those videos that are not visible in some computers its jus coz of their some uninstalled codecs,instead of all mess downloads get videolan vlc media player

@jeremywitte10 I've never heard of that happening before are you sure you have the right kind of pen, maybe the place or person you bought it from put the wrong one in and if thats not the case i would say you should get a refund or a replacement cause its not working.

Thanks for showing me the reset button ! I first assumed it was the microphone...

And for some reason the pen got blocked in the yellow light status.

Reset with a bent paperclip got it working again and all the files were still on it !

hey i have the same pen and it works fine for me. It plays video and audio both in my laptop and pc but when I take it to the office and plug it into ANY computer there, it only plays AUDIO and NO video. They have windows XP and 7. Do you know why I am able to see and hear video and audio in my home and I can only hear the audio at the office? By the way I didn't receive any installation disk, my home pc recognized it right from the beginning.

hi there, i think the computer in your office might not support the video part of the file so maybe if you get a converter to try other file types, hopefully that will help you.

Yeh the sound is crap but the quality of the actual video is not to bad for it's size and I didn't need sound anyway.

joedalton64, so the reset hole is under the power light..so is the camera lens on the other side?

If it is an orange colour that is normal but if it is blue just hold the button on the top. Try that

mine wont turn off when i plug it into my pc...the only way i can get it to turn off is to plug it in to the chargere then unplug it then turn it off.....

wth should i do?is it defective or is this normal?

to answer iamownagenoob, there is a little hole just under the light hole and you will have to use a pin to get it, you will feel a little click and it should be reset. sry about delay.

to answer Kweenlaudia's question. you should be able to pick up the manual on ebay or any other site like it. to play the video from the pen no but if your talking about the battery life in general it will last for about 2 hours of videoing time. im sorry about the delay with this everyone i lost internet for ages.

THANK YOU! I got the pen as a gift from my grandpa and he doesn't have the manual at all and so I don't understand how to use it. One thing though, will the battery for the video ever die? How should i change it?

yes you can its quite small and its very hard to get out though, u should be able to get one from any stationary shop.
