Does anyone know a name for the musical theme that begins right at 4:27? Just can't find a name. It's as if it doesn't even exist. Not even in the OST. :( It's such a nice melody, I figured it'd be worth recording at least.

I looked today to see if I could find and order the actual series for my girlfriend. She owns the first book in english and it's really great, however they stopped the production of it in english for some unknown reason, I wanted to try and buy the actual series(not english) for he. So far no luck. My plan B is to buy her the movie/anime.

becayse the dubs ARE horrible most of the time. I like kino's english voice, but I hate hermes voice in english

The series kicks ass! I never saw episodes 1, and 2. The show has great morals to it, and a very nice plot.

This movie takes place after she leaves home, and the original Kino dies.

Btw, does anyone remember her real name? I think they say it on the last episode, or something.

Kino was the name of the guy who saved the main character's life. She takes his name when she flees her home and starts a new life much like the one he sacrificed.

The first book is now in English and you can get it at Barnes & Noble or on amazon. It's a good read. You can get the anime series on amazon for a good price or if you have a Netflix account you can rent it there.

I know a few people already told you, but this clears things up further (watch the text at the beginning where they mention her using the masculin, and feminine versions of "I")

She's a girl who likes to keep her gender secret. In a few episodes I believe they refer to her as a "little boy" (or where they talking abotu hermes?) and she repsonds with, "I'm not little.", instead of, "I'm not a boy"
