When I just play against the playstation my players can hit the goal and scores often - or at least hit the goal. But as soon as I go online then I can stand in front of goal and MISS... Please help me...

excellent stuff, i think i probably figured most of that out myself, but good stuff. any tips on how to score more often in 1 on 1 situations with GK. finesse shot was soooo easy in fifa 11, now its almost useless.

you can run along the lines, do only crosses, turn the ball back and switch play, watch replays. There are many ways to piss others off and win the match, but i call that cheap. Its true its a lot easier to play vs rushing defenders but be fair to your opponent. (If he tries to piss u off do it, but if he doesnt well dont play cheap) i miss the old times u didnt need to resort to this

@XxChelseaDude79xX Basically its very easy. There are 3-4 ways of scoring it.

1) find an empty player that he has passed hes opponent and use pass/through ball (depending)

2) control someone with high long shooter stat, slow down and take a chip shot (learn power based on range by heart)

(Either LB+B or LT+X+Lanalog manual aim) chip him. watch out as people also faint it.

3) Shot faint to pass him from sides (like a winger) and shot

4) make shots when GK is 1/2 of goal distance, but not close

This is your best FIFA video yet. I guess because I'm a beginner. I'd sussed that letting the xbox contain the player while you hover about was the way to go - I'll switch the buttons though. How often do you use the through ball? It usually gets cut out for me

Have you noticed people using the "Control-keeper" glitch more and more online? People click select the keeper and the defense suddenly turns to legendary-mode. Its basically impossible to score on them, hope EA patches this soon..

@scaleopdriver Unfortunately it's not a glitch. They designed it so you CAN control the keeper at any time, including online. It sucks, but they have confirmed it's not going to be changed. Just try your best to get lobbies without people using the GK, and just leave games when you think they are :)

the new defense system is really frustating me :S the last football game i played was pes 9 and this year i decided to buy fifa 12 because my friends bought it but to be honest i'm not enjoying any of the game :P
