  • sucks to know that i swim in that water :(

  • wtf u can catch shark at the beach?!

  • Corpus Christi was voted the city with the worst hair in 2010 in I forget which survey, but it makes sense because of the salty air, salty shower water and crazy wind.

  • Big red drums is what i use

  • That shark's friends are never gonna believe he was abducted by 2 footed aliens...

  • I aint goin to Padre Island anymore:0

  • you sure thats not Port Aransas, TX

  • nice catch man

  • For leverage... And its a bull.

  • Hey Chris, What rod are you using?

  • nice you let it go

  • god amn tiger from the beach?!?!?!

  • hey there im going to corpus christi how can i get a shark like you did or what did you use?

  • wow thats nice i got one in galveston..close by the peir 49

  • Damn I was swimming over there 2 weeks ago!

  • I used to fish those same waters! about 15 miles past the four wheel drive sign.

  • nice

  • i have to say that im bummed that bull shark didnt turn and bite your ass off.

  • do you do it for the sport of it because sharks are going extinked all over the world

  • Save the sharks..............think about it!

  • The large rods are used because of how much pressure the sharks put on the rods, we normally use tuna class rods, strung with 80 lb mono with a 100 lb top shot of about 50-100 yds. The reels we use will hold approx. 800 yds of mono. Recently we have joined up with Apex Predators in a tagging program where we tag and release the sharks.

  • awesome! I really want to go shark fishing sometime

  • wat time of year and day was this

  • i used to work in the cafe and bait shop at bob hall pier. i was sacked for wiping my ass on the burger buns.

  • Nice video man! Definately a Bullshark.

  • There goes dinner. LOL! Great vid.

  • bad ass!!!! so cool!!

  • oh god, and i swim there

  • Glad to see you let it go... Congrats... Great catch... LONG LIVE THE SHARK!

  • wow

  • how do u get the line out far enough????????

  • oh dude you could never get me to go out there and grab the leader. F that!

  • what kind of bait were you using? did you cast your line yourself or did you drop it off somehow?

  • y u usin a boat rod from the beach?

  • because they are kayaking the baits and dropping them past the sandbar instead of casting.

  • it gives you more leverage. ever use a 12ft surf rod to reel in a bull shark?? it sucks ass. they take kayaks to set their bait about 200-400yards out so there is no need for a surf rod. So they basically can use heavy gear required for sharks without any casting issues.

  • who wants go to fun in that beach hahaha

  • kayak

  • @DEMITRIpa Surf Fishing, fishing from the surf. Sharks are coming closer to shore

  • Wow man that was good, i wonder how long it took you to reel it in? I just caught an 86 pound catfish ( took like 45 minutes to reel it in :| ) and i was freaken ecstatic about that, i can imagine how excited i would be catching a shark,

i would love to fish in the crystal city, i just need a rod strong enough to catch something like that!!

  • wat beach is dat in corpus??? or wat part of town is it in?

  • omg i surf there to ....as long as they dont catch a bigger one ...:P

  • its so beautifull, watching Mankind catch a creature, and then letting it free, i cant stand people that jsut kill the sharks when they catch them, I love fishing, but i always put my fish back, unless its a food fish. example- flounder, tuna, jack crevelle. just to name a few.

  • Shark is a food fish

  • Nice site. Good shark fishing instruction manual and video examples. Well put together. Thanks.

  • damn and i surf there too......i was but by a 3 foot bull 2 years ago at Bobs
