as soon as one of the hosts tries to make a valid point about the flaws in Russian foreign policy, Peter tries to shut him up that we are running out of time. Can RT add 5 more mins for its guest speakers to finish the sentence and make a consistent argument? I am a big fun of Cross Talk but I wish its rules were a little bit more fair and objective.
thats not an amzing thoguht- people have been trhinking it forever- I am candain and want that to hapen-however- nato was built well at least thru russias eyes- to dismantle ussr- so russia would never want to join nato- it was specifcallty designined for the oposite- whowever- why not a new body called something else- with russia in charge
Lol, ariel cohen is an idiot. "WE live in a world where contries compete." Eat shit. His america thinks it has a "privilaged position" everywhere it can get its ass stuck into. THey wanted iraqi oil, then went bombed and killed and occupied, and now they are privilaged position for US.
Gosh i love this peter lavelle is hillarious! This guy keeps shitting in the face of all the liers in this case the Ariel. In Chechniya majority of domestic citiens are against islamist extremists there. Its not like they want independence. This was not true for South Ossethia. MAJORITY not all but majority of people living there wants independence from Georgia. The MINORITY of ethnic georgians that lived there, were forced to move outside the Ossethia.
RussiaToday had a great beginning: it was discrete, it provided daily thoughtful analysis with a moderate amount of spin (far less than other news stations e.g. CNN). Unfortunately, in its attempt to counteract the onesided western coverage of events, it adopted this americansied news coverage style, which is highly inefficient in providing an objective coverage and is very annoying. Good news coverage does not need large funds, look at Euronews, short and to the point.
Like so many of his predecessors, President Obama is quickly discovering that persuading Israel to change course is nearly impossible ... If Obama tries to make aid to Israel conditional on a settlement freeze, Congress will simply override him. Putting real pressure on Israel risks alienating key politicians and major Democratic fundraisers, as well as Israel's supporters in the media, imperiling the rest of Obama's agenda and conceivably his prospects for reelection.
We can't have a privilage zone?.?.?.?. Are you kidding me?? America is buying of and destabalising every country in the world! and what? we can't have influence over the lands that use to belong to us?? We employ their people, keep their economys alive just so they stay friendly with us! Unlike the US who sends e.g. Georgia to war just to become allies...... Whos way is better??

History repeats and no one learns anything. Russia should be content to play intermediary between the U.S. and Iran and provide space tourism for wealthy clowns. Russia's European pipeline projects to circumvent Ukraine is a sign of its determination to cripple it's prize (Ukraine) and Germany is helping them to do it. That Brit is a twat probably on the Kremlin payroll, so is the host. Mr. Cohen is the only objective commentator. The Budapest Memorandum of 1994 protects Ukraine from Russia.
Bwaaaahaha, wake me up when you a flightworthy space vehicle, won't you? Meantime you are stuck to sticking your thumb out for the next passing *Russian* spacescraft to the ISS....
No, I would say that he speaks for what many deem as the arguably leech-off-of-Americans, pro-Israel NeoCon agenda. I wouldn't ascribe much credibility to his words.
Russia Today (Kremlin owned) is not in the business of fair and independent newsreporting, but in the business of spreading misinformation....
