Your canines are actually still not designed to tear meat (not sharp enough). If you compare your canines to that of another mammal that is carnivorous for survival you will definitely see the difference is sharpness and durability as well (sharks, wolves, etc.) The human body also doesn't NEED meat. There are alternative ways to get protein. And it's not like the animal CHOSE to "sacrifice" its life so that you can have a meal. It was unaware and innocent.
But if you honor the animal, raise and kill it yourself (quickly), then in my opinion it's okay. My family has a farm in guatemala and I love taking care of the animals, especially the turkeys! Also, sure you can get protein from other sources, but it's less efficient to me since you need more than one source to get the equivalent. It's just an opinion. theoretically, all the body needs is fats, proteins, carbs, vitamins, minerals, and water. so with the right diet, meat nor veggies are needed!

Growing up next to farms as a child I always had that viewpoint, seeing how well my neighbors treated their livestock I didn't even realize factory farming existed. An animal on a farm may have a better life, but certainly not in a factory farm. I am not pro vegetarianism, nor am I pro peta. I just think that animals should be raised humanely.

Primitive hominids waited 'till other predators had killed the animal, then broke its bones with stones and sucked the marrow. THAT is what made it possible to evolve, so, ROBLO, maybe you could use an hour or two of your "think about that" advice.

Actually if you look at a human's dental structure it is not meant for tearing meat, therefore insinuating that the original man was not designed for meat consumption. From a Biblical perspective, I believe God meant for humans to eat of the earth. Think about it. If Adam and Eve were meat eaters, why would God instruct them not to eat of the tree of knowledge? It would've been a cow or chicken of knowledge. I think meat consumption started once evil entered the world. Which makes sense.

Your canines are actually still not designed to tear meat (not sharp enough). If you compare your canines to that of another mammal that is carnivorous for survival you will definitely see the difference is sharpness and durability as well (sharks, wolves, etc.) The human body also doesn't NEED meat. There are alternative ways to get protein. And it's not like the animal CHOSE to "sacrifice" its life so that you can have a meal. It was unaware and innocent.

But if you honor the animal, raise and kill it yourself (quickly), then in my opinion it's okay. My family has a farm in guatemala and I love taking care of the animals, especially the turkeys! Also, sure you can get protein from other sources, but it's less efficient to me since you need more than one source to get the equivalent. It's just an opinion. theoretically, all the body needs is fats, proteins, carbs, vitamins, minerals, and water. so with the right diet, meat nor veggies are needed!
