  • @swedishmax clever aahahah

  • He blew his load in 10 seconds.

  • I count six shots fired.

  • Only one of the shots fired (the first one where he shot it single action) had a blast. Possibly all .38 rounds with the exception of that shot?

  • How much strengh does 686P sacrafice to get that extra round in there? can it handle heavy loads? Was going to get a Taurus, but ended up with a Ruger GP100. Definatly a seriously overbuilt Revolver.

  • why is the shot at :05 the only one with a flash

  • Comment removed

  • why do u blink your eyes every shot

    Crockett

  • abnormal muzzle flash on the sixth shot. anyone else notice it.

    were those handloads?

  • He's too cool to wear eye protection. Etc...

  • If you ever drive between Salida and Buena Vista, there is a great range. Free with steel out to about 600 yards. Bring the Smith and a long gun.

  • Nice gun. I am thinking of getting one myself.

  • Good job not anticipating the recoil.

  • why did u blink every time u shot ?

  • @Hoodhitta lol As if the oriental guy's eyes aren't already small enough to see his "target." lol

  • @winrx Implying he's even Asian dumbass.

  • were those factory or handloads, any details your willing to disclose about the handload if thats what they are?, they look warm.

  • i wish we had a zombie apocalypse so bad!

  • @tooHastify4you omg, if there is and we ever meet, me and my cousins are locking and blocking off all windows with all the food, guns, bullets, and jesus on our side on top of the building, lol, its a good plan, i just made it up

  • too bad rampart is closed now have to go all the way to teller county now

  • sweet gun man

  • Its a 7 rounder gun as far as i know too though look it up, google is easy to use. no dumb comments please.

  • why did you only take six shots?

  • I have the Smith 686Plus in 4" 357. incredibly smooth double-action and a very light single-action. 7-shots of fine firearm.

  • quick question how come at the begining you wernt cocking the hamer but after 3-4 shot you didnt cock the hamer is the gun just built that way or is it just up to you?

  • @menace2merrylandsz

I think it's double action, so by pulling the trigger it sets the hammer and fires by just the trigger alone. If it has a long, heavy triggerpull, it's harder to shoot accurately. So it's up to you. Either set the hammer manually, or just pull the trigger.

  • to bad rampart is closed now

  • Tommy .....deaf dumb blind kid....sure pleased to meet pinball....

just kidding and I copied this from wikipedia to give them the credit:

    # S&W Model 686 (US - Revolver - .357 Magnum & .38 Special: Distinguished Combat Magnum 6 shot cylinder, Stainless)

    # S&W Model 686P (US - Revolver - .357 Magnum & .38 Special: Distinguished Combat Magnum 7 shot cylinder, Stainless)

    # S&W Model 686PP (US - Revolver - .357 Magnum & .38 Special: Distinguished Combat Magnum Power Port 6 shot cylinder,

  • Get your glasses down over your eyes son.

  • The shot at 0:08 looked fake.

  • real G's don't blink when firing XD

  • Who needs ear protection when you have eye protection on your forehead?

  • @lordfarquade im not sure but i dont think you need ear protection out side in the open like that

  • @WhackCheese yes you do, eventually you'll go deaf, save the "no ear protection time" for when you really need it

  • try shooting anything larger tehn a .22 without ear pro. I made teh mistake first time I shot my .45 in my back yard. My ears were ringing for 3 hours afterwards after dropping about 24 rounds. I listen to loud music and stuff like that, so its not cause im a pussy, its cause a gun is fuckin loud when the hammer drops @WhackCheese

  • @WhackCheese You absolutely do haha

  • hey jomogogo or whatevr...thats a gay nam u homo...dont be a dick...damn u r retarded u dumbass

  • I don't think he's properly squeezing that trigger!

  • No glasses? no earplugs?

  • were du i get 1 of diz in india d only thing i can find is d baretta

  • the caliber of the round makes it sound soo powerful but its pretty much a .38 magnum

  • i bet that recoil is pretty strong for this gun

  • The only reason I doubt this video is because there was only a gun flare once. I think that's supposed to happen everytime you fire a gun. or maybe the other flares were so quick I just didn't see them

  • @Dooterlicious cameras can't always pick up gun flares actually...in the movies they have special equip that syncs with the gun fire to capture the flares if I remember correctly

  • @Dooterlicious

wow you are a gun n00B it's daylight dumbass you might see a muzzle flash you might not depending on a variety of factors

  • just picked one of these up yesterday, should be a nice upgrade from my 9's...despite the minus 7 capacity

  • such a sexy gun

  • new smith & wesson 357 revolver holds 7 bullets, i have seen the advertisement in a web page, i have checked it to make sure it was real, this title is true it holds 7 bullets. so if you don't know the new ones don't go against this video.

  • I don't need no stinking eye protection.

  • cool video and good chanel

  • @Phatboy0258 your smart! but i promise the dont gonna listen. you know all of this son of a a bitches on youtube (bad english sorry)

  • Comment removed

  • It's a 686 model.

    Wikipedia is your friend.

  • @killchain187 686P. Sorry.

  • hyey iam 13 and iam gonna go shooting soon whats a good gun for a beginner?

  • @JihadBITCHS I know they dont sound as fun, but the best place to start is a good .22. I personally like the Ruger mk.III but the buckmark is good too. Whether shooting rifles or pistols, always start with a .22 and build good habits with that before working your way up.

  • @robs104 ok, thanks

  • @JihadBITCHS a .22 rifle

  • you have a 6 shot not a 7 shot

  • @capulet916 wow it is a 7 shot you just are counting how many shots he fired

  • I prefer making stool in fancy hotel bathrooms.

  • wow he holds the gun like a girl

  • @GiggleGoop1 - he's holding the gun perfectly and has absolutely no flinch.

  • i think their is also something called a .327 which shoots 6 shots 1 more shot than a .357

  • 686P ftw. ive got the 6"

  • this is not 7 shoot 6 shoot

  • remember always wear ear and eye protection even when not shooting steel., aside from that awesome trigger control.

  • @jhutcheson4 can you stop going around to peoples shooting videos acting like a know it all? your profile says your 21, but i bet your maybe 11 years old and a wannabe. maybe you should post some videos

  • serious hand gun

  • safety glasses on your head arent gonna help any

  • Cool weapon man.

  • JUST placed the order for a new 686-8. Been using club guns for too long and decided to treat myself. Cannot wait to take delivery in about two weeks!!

  • I have the same. S&W .357 36 series 3-inch and it is most certainly holds 6 rounds!

  • @JizzonTheDark it's a 686. look at my other videos with me shooting it before you make yourself look stupid

  • @Stevespeeze There's nothing angry or threatening of this video. I'm on a range... Permits are not required in Colorado. Do your homework before you make stupid comments.

  • @swedishmax LOUD NOISES!!

  • @swedishmax got one this weekend in a ruger. beautiful gun

  • @Stevespeeze

you are such a fucking idiot

  • @Stevespeeze your are a fucking retard

  • @Stevespeeze 1) Most places in america don't require a permit to own a gun

    2) Making a video of a firearm is not brandishing (*coughretardcough*)

    3)what is wrong with brandishing?

  • @Stevespeeze Uh.... It is obviously a public range. Hear the rounds being fired in the background? Even if it wasn't, that sure looks like a rural or unincorporated area to me. Nothing illegal, at least in my state, about firing a weapon in a rural area so long as you do so safely and with the property owners permission.

Eye and ear protection are would be an awesome idea.

  • @Stevespeeze all of Texas thinks your fuck'n gay

  • @Stevespeeze what are you a cop?

  • @Stevespeeze you my friend are a idiot lol. and you must be from cali.

  • @Stevespeeze owned.

  • @swedishmax You mean a 686P. 686 holds 6 rounds and 686P holds 7.

  • @JizzonTheDark i saw a limited edition shrek collecters cup from mcdonalds and it most certainley held 6 ounces of juice MMMMMMM BEEEE OTCH

  • @JizzonTheDark its a 686p

  • @JizzonTheDark open your eyes you might hit something

  • ive been exactly there

  • Where's the eye protection at DuMass?

  • why do people comment on videos about their fucking airsoft guns...........

  • i have that one but in airsoft

  • @danielstengards best of luck my friend hope nobody flags as spam

  • have that in airsoft

  • this is the revolver that breaks wrists im pretty sure of and you havt to cover it with a grip

  • @metalgearsolidpros22: The gun in the video is apparently an S&W 686 Plus (Plus meaning 7 shots instead of the stardard 6 found in a model 686). It looks to have a 4" barrel and is made of stainless steel, giving it a weight of near 40 ounces. While .357 Mag is potent, weight matters, and it's not even close to a wrist breaker in a gun that heavy. Felt recoil is directly related to gun weight and a revolver made of steel certainly isn't light.

  • thats a .500 S&W dumbass

  • @superlizard234 The 500 S&W Magnum only holds 5 rounds, and has a lot more recoil.

  • @Bodom15490 sorry, I thought it was one. But I always thought the 500 held six rounds.

  • @superlizard234 so did I, until I shot one, and it was epic, and only has 5 rounds.

  • nice kick, but that would throw you off

  • I've shot a S&W .500 before, and its recoil was way too much for me to handle. Is the S&W .357 really that much easier to shoot?

  • yes it is

  • I can't imagine you'd have any trouble firing a .357 Mag as long as you use a gun that's heavy enough. The one in the video appeared to have a 4" barrel. With a 6" barrel they're quite muzzle-heavy and give you nearly three pounds of steel to absorb recoil. Weight matters -- a heavy gun greatly reduces felt recoil and a long, heavy barrel doesn't jump up much.

  • i have a 44 and it is a hell of alot lowder then that. and at new years i blasted off a few every body got silent then i shot a twelv gage. we had the lowdest guns in the neigbor hood.

  • you know your a redneck when......

  • Why does one need a handgun so big it can break your wrist? Self defense from rabid bears?

  • @chivazrigol

the .357 mag will do nothing of the sort. Maybe if you go for the .44 mag or the .500 S&W Magnum and thats a pretty big MAYBE.

  • My point stands. Awesome as a big enough caliber is its impractical.

  • On the contrary. As a man stopper the .357mag is among the very best while still being small/practical enough to be fired from a pistol-sized revolver.

Try putting a lion/bear/wildcat with a .357 and the odds are you'll have your face raped off.

  • .357 magnum isn't even a large caliber. It's .357 inches, the .40S&W, 10mm, 41mag, 44sp/.44mag, .45ACP, .45 long colt, .50GI, .50AE, .500 magnum are all larger than a .357 magnum. It's a high power load sure, but obviously you don't know anything about it if you think it's large or impractical

  • Haha are you serious?? A .357 magnum in a large handgun BARELY RECOILS! The most kick you'll get out of a Smith is either the 4" 500 magnum or the airweight .357 magnums (MP340 or 340PD) even those won't hurt you, just give you a sore hand

  • One word: Zombies.

  • @vector6977

I would rather have a shotgun.

  • How come some rounds had big muzzle flash and some didnt? shooting 38 rounds then 357?

  • I was wondering about muzzle flash too, noticing that one or two had a very clear flash and the others had none. I don't know. You might be right about him alternating 357 & 38 rounds in the cylinder.

  • nah cameras for whatever reason only pick up some flashes.

  • @KJonhS

Unless you're using a very high frame rate, you won't consistently capture muzzle flashes on video because they happen so quickly. Sometimes a frame happens to capture it, sometimes the flash happens between frames and the video equipment doesn't capture it. Hollywood production studios have to use special equipment to time muzzle flashes with the camera shutter speed in order to consistently capture the flashes on film.

  • @DroverChicago Thanks -- that makes perfect sense as to why we only see only one really perfect muzzle flash.

  • thing i love the most is shoot this gun without ear protection , I use ear protection when fireing Mosin-Nagant rifle.

  • Comment removed

  • tiras a lo pendejo y en mala posicion, no has de tener nada de punteria pinche askeroso

  • I can't see any earplugs, but what's worse is the eye protection shielding his hair and not his eyes. He might want to get some professional training.

  • yeah just in case one of the bullet casings manage to fly out of the cylinder into his eye... dangerous

  • @billj696 why eye protection ? it is not that there is going to come a bullet out of the cilinder and goes in your eyes? this is a REVOLVER the worst case that could happen is a jamming

  • actually revolvers do not really jam, but the cylinder can go out of alignment and shoot led shavings into your eye.

  • @LavaMountainKat i didnt see it happen but you never now every thing can happen these days

  • if the cylinder is out of alignment with the barrel, the bullet scrapes the edges of the forcing cone, so pieces of led get scraped off the bullet and pushed out by gases. If that happens anyways you want to get your gun fixed because that can be highly dangerous.

  • @LavaMountainKat ok if that happens you are right

  • @LavaMountainKat Who said a revolver has a jamming problem? They obvious don't know why many choose one over a 9mm. Revolvers are the most reliable weapons in the world to own. If you jam one, you really have either overused it, or really tried to break it lol. Good safety tip. I would also mention that if you hold it wrong, the gas will burn your hand.

  • @RoyalAlba1

    WRONG!

  • So ur basically saying that hes a bad shot because he doesnt use earplugs and eye protection. Bullshit man... YOU might want some help dude. Jealousy is a bad bad thing.

  • Nice gun/video.

The zombies don't stand a chance.

  • .357 recoil is not as dramatic as people think, at the most shooting about 20 rounds of some full power loads might make your hand feel alittle sore if the grip on your gun is not to comfortable.

  • Most .357 ammo isn't bad at all.

Ever shot buffalo bore ammo? Thats a full house .357 and it stings your hand even in a full sized 686 with a 6 inch barrel.

  • this place is closed now. indefinately. some guy got shot in the chest and died

  • did u get a bear?

  • flinch

  • k puto pringao!

  • Is this where the guy got shot? Rampart?

  • i have a carbine m2 and a 50 ae desert eagle for home protection

  • faggots like you come to youtube videos and lie about guns they dont have.

  • @lolrskateslol Really looks like he has it!!!!

  • @lolrskateslol well it could happen but the gun would more then likely blow up or not fire if it was off..

  • @lolrskateslol fuck you!

  • I was wondering if I should get a .357 for home defense for a bit, then thought, why spend all that money for a gun that may be too much for my 5'9",175Lb frame? I'll just keep the .38 my dad left me and use the .38+P Hydra-shock rounds that he also gave me. Don't get me wrong, .357 mags are pretty cool, but a 6" barrel S&W .38 special is nothing to sneeze at either with the right ammo!

  • Firing a .357 inside without ear protection is not a good idea. At night the flash off of a .357 will blind you for a moment. I have a .45, a .357 and a .38 and would choose my .38 for inside defense.

  • you can handle the .357 mag. if you tone down your reloads for practice ammo the recoil is actually really managable

  • It's not a question so much wether I can handle it or not, I probably could. I'd just rather stick with what I have and not spend money I don't have on a gun I really don't need(self defense-wise). Like I said, with the right ammo, .38's can be quite deadly! Of course a semi-auto model B Uzi carbine would be cool. I am looking for an M91/30 Mosin Nagant!

  • @bearsfan1294 yeah, i am 14, 5 8 120 lbs, and i can fire a full load 357

  • haha really im just about the same size but 5 9 ~125 and i just turned 15 a few days ago

  • of all the people on youtube!

  • There is a model 627 that shoots .357mag/38special which holds 8 bullets.

  • ya i own that one

  • whats the model? never saw a 7 shot model

  • Model 686(comes in 6 or 7 shots) Smith and Wesson and are some others like model 620, Just some information all Smith and wesson starting with 6 is stainless. Looking at about $700-750 for a new one
