Hallo there - thank you for this :) Even though my "shovel" may be a wee bit different, I concur :) Le beannachdan (With blessings), Ruiseart - Gaelic Druid Order (Scotland).
I really love this video. You've basically said what I've been thinking about the topic for a good while now. Everyone is always like,"Well religion and spirituality is COMPLETELY different." And for some reason I somewhat agreed with that but never really understood it. I think this video helped that honestly. THANK YOU!
All belief systems are false. Created by the oppressors of this world to enslave the minds of the ones that chooses fall for them. It is also a way to seperate people and to keep them from the truth of who they are and cause war and chaos. And a business to help fund the war machine for mass murder or mass sacrifice to those that control the elite. If you can't handle the truth don't come to my channel.
It's not my job to protect the tender feelings of every thin-skinned nut-case out there. If you find what I said offensive or racist, the problem is with you, not with me. ....And I didn't find anything you said offensive.
What you call "bad-mouthing," I call "reasoned discourse." It is something I will not desist. If you would like to engage in such a discussion, feel free to join in. But, I won't shut up because someone out there might take offense in the fact I disagree with them.
If you don't think religion is important to me, you must not have checked out my other videos. If you'd like to talk about what I said instead of how I said it, we might have an interesting conversation.
What am I "trying" to say? I think I said exactly what I was trying to say. The "spades conversation" is called a metaphor. You may or may not think it an apt one, which would be a more meaningful discussion. And your dislike of me taking a humorous approach to what is apparently a sensitive topic for you is duly noted.
dunno dont care youre all retarded i cant even remember posting messages here but obvs i did because they seem to be removed :O WHAT WHO WHEN WHERE WHY
yet i still have childhood attachments to catholicism and the history and mysticism of Christianity,yet i know i need to break free,there isn't enough freedom there and too many guilty feelings. My shovel has been malfunctioning for quite a while and i think i've found a better tool to dig with.
I think you're video is great! I love the analogy of religion as a shovel searching for buried treasure and being the means not the end. I also think it is true that some get stuck with their focus on the shovel and clinging to it.That's when they forget to dig. I myself was brought up a catholic and for the past 2 or more years i have been looking at different "shovels" trying to find a fit,from Islam to Paganism to Gnosticism and i think that Celtic Reconstructionism probably fits the best;

What do you mean you didn't find what Fiacharrey said offensive? In your first statement you said you did.
You said:
"i understand this is your opinion but the way youre putting it across is offensive"
Which is it?
