AK-47 is retired with Russian military in 1959 or more than 50 years ago. In 1974 they adopted AK-74 model which is superiot to Armalire dising in terms of accuracy in you are to install any better sights. If I want accuracy and distance, I go with the AR series…and while not as reliable as the AK, ARs aren't the pieces of shit most people make them out to be. With most weather conditions, as long as you keep the bolt lubricated, it will fire…not advised, but if you're in a pinch, then you can make do.

As far as reliability…AK, hands down. @ILikeToShotZombies is dead on with the video they suggested. The AK is a reliability beast, despite its range limitations.
